Bay Shore Kids is our interactive and exciting Kid's ministry. One of our goals is to provide a church experience for our children that is challenging enough for them to grow in Christ and engaging enough to keep them coming back for more. We use Bible stories, scripture, worship and prayer coupled with games, small group discussion and zany characters.

| Another goal is to show them how they can apply God's Word to their lives. Our lessons are geared toward where our children are and the obstacles they face in their walks with the Lord, even at their young ages. This is geared just for them and opens avenues to instill God's Word in the heart of the kids with practical ways of walking it out. Each lesson demonstrates ways to implement the learning into their lives. Through the small group discussions and sharing, children brainstorm ways that God's Word applies to them. Another goal of ours is to develop friendships among our children and familes. |

Through events outside of church time, we bring children together for family events that usually relate to our theme. As our children get to know one another, they feel more comfortable worshiping with each other, and they have a peer support group to lean on through their walk with the Lord. Our hope is that this peer group will continue into their teen years when they leave children's church. Ages 4-11 years are invited to join us during our main services on Sunday morning to grow, learn and have fun while doing it.
