Additional Giving Options
We are so grateful for the generosity of our church family. Every gift, no matter the form, helps us continue to reach people and serve our community. In addition to regular online or in-person giving, there are a few other meaningful ways you can support the mission of Bay Shore. These options can be helpful for long-term planning, tax advantages, or legacy giving.
Planned & Legacy Giving
-

Retirement Accounts (IRA, 401k, etc.)
You can name Bay Shore Community Church as a beneficiary of your retirement account. This is a simple way to make a lasting impact. Any remaining funds transferred to the church are typically free from income and estate tax.
-

Wills & Estate Plans
You can include Bay Shore in your will or estate plan as a beneficiary of a specific amount or percentage of your estate. This is one of the simplest and most impactful ways to leave a legacy gift.
-

Gifts of Stocks & Mutual Funds
Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds is a tax-efficient way to give. In many cases, donors may avoid capital gains tax while receiving a charitable deduction for the full value of the gift.
To give stock, please contact your financial advisor or broker and notify our finance office (legacy@bayshorecc.org) so we can assist with transfer instructions.
